Food & Drink

On an Ironstone Retreat we promise you will not go hungry. Chef Andrew will be preparing nutritious and wholesome meals throughout the stay. All allergies and intolerances can be catered for. Each day consists of a light breakfast, brunch, afternoon snack and three course evening meal.  

Sample Menu

Day 1

Welcome drinks - Lillet rosé and tonic or St Germain Spritz

 

Dinner: Market table - Olives, tapenade, confit garlic, saucisson, cured ham, Bouzigues Oysters, artichoke hearts, fougasse, heritage tomato salad and Pelardon cheese

Day 2

Light Breakfast: Fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt

 

Brunch: Porridge with banana and dates, fruit, breads, salad, green scrambled eggs

 

Dinner: Gazpacho, Paella Royale and sorbet

Day 3

Light Breakfast: Fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt

 

Brunch: Yogurt, fruit, breads, salad, red bean chili with avocado and fried egg

 

Dinner: Salmon tartare, confit duck with peas, lardon and sautee potato and lemon tart

Day 4

Light Breakfast: Fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt

 

Brunch: Porridge, fruit, salad, breads, shakshouka

 

Dinner: Lebanese Meze - roast aubergine with curried yogurt, beef kofte, lentil and confit tomato with gorgonzola, herb couscous, tomato and parsley salad, humous and flatbreads
